The Northampton-based care home provider now owns and operates 106 homes comprising 8,614 beds across its network.
Northampton-based care home provider Avery Healthcare has acquired Artisan Care Group, the owner of ten newly developed luxury care homes.
Financial terms have not been disclosed.
This transaction brings 774 additional beds under Avery’s ownership and management. Following the transaction, Avery now owns and operates 106 homes comprising 8,614 beds across its UK-wide network.
“Acquiring the Artisan Group was an obvious strategic step given the strength of the relationship and further solidifies our long-term commitment to Avery and the social care sector,” said majority shareholder David Jr Reuben of private equity group Reuben Brothers. They acquired their stake in Avery Healthcare, together with US real estate investment trust Welltower, in early 2022.
