The healthcare giant has launched an education resource alongside a product range to help perimenopausal or menopausal women.
Bayer Consumer Health has launched a digital education resource and scientifically backed product range called CanesMeno to help the estimated 13 million women in the UK who are currently perimenopausal or menopausal.
It is the group’s first move into this sector in the UK.
“Menopause is an area that deserves greater visibility and support,” said Daria Costantini, brand lead for Canesten at Bayer Consumer Health UK. “We often talk about women suffering through menopause because there’s a lack of knowledge to enable us to take charge of our own health. With CanesMeno, we aim to educate, destigmatise and offer community support to empower more women to take more control of their health and well-being.”
Key features of the hub include a three-minute guide to learn more about menopause signs with downloadable information; a menopause tracker where users can input signs of menopause for the tool to create free, private and personalised insights; as well as an array of articles where to learn more about menopause.
Along with the hub, Bayer has launched a range of produces products, including food supplements and a gynecologically tested vaginal dryness gel.
