The British Dental Industry Association has partnered with the fintech payments firm to enable providers to reduce administrative workload while improving cash flow.

Fintech payments firm Cashflows has partnered with The British Dental Industry Association (BDIA) to help the dental profession move away from generic or legacy merchant services and use payment services that are custom-built for the industry.

The British Dental Industry Association (BDIA) is the UK trade association representing and supporting manufacturers and suppliers of dental products, services and technologies.

“Typically, dental providers are burdened by legacy payment systems that have been accepted because they’re simply provided by who they happen to bank with,” said Cashflows chief executive Hannah Fitzsimons.

Custom-built for the UK dental sector, the software enables providers to reduce administrative workload while improving cash flow, streamline billing, prepayments and recurring plans.

“Having strong, reliable payment partners available through the Association gives dental businesses greater choice and confidence when selecting the solutions that work best for them. This addition strengthens the support we can offer our members,” said the BDIA’s commercial director Mark Hyde.

Complex billing, diverse payment preferences, and cash flow challenges can slow operations and, as a result, impact patient satisfaction.
