Bupa Health Services has acquired The Dermatology Partnership’s seven specialist dermatology clinics located in Harley Street, Wimbledon, Oxford, Canterbury, Cheltenham, Cheadle and Shrewsbury.
It said the acquisition enables Bupa’s UK Insurance customers to have faster access to care and swifter peace of mind.
Bupa Health Services general manager Sarah Melia said the new partnership would enable Bupa to create a seamless pathway for customers to have their concerns addressed.
She said: “Our long-term strategy is to provide more Bupa services directly to customers, which is further cemented with the acquisition of The Dermatology Partnership.”
Dermatology Partnership Mark Norfolk said: “Bupa hold the same values as The Dermatology Partnership and I know working together will help us attract new customers and experts into our clinics.
“It will also help us to reach our ambition of becoming the leading provider of dermatology in the UK and expand and grow the business.
“Our customers will see no change to the service they receive at The Dermatology Partnership and all appointments will be going ahead as scheduled.’
The acquisition follows Bupa Health Services’ acquisitions of London Medical and Blackberry Clinics.
