The sale of the portfolio of eight care homes in East Anglia and Essex was managed by Knight Frank and Charles Russell Speechleys.
London-based CGEN Care Group has acquired the care home operator Stow Healthcare. Financial terms have not been disclosed.
A family of care homes owned and managed by brother and sister Roger Catchpole and Ruth French, Stow Healthcare was established 15 years ago with Stowlangtoft Hall in Suffolk. The portfolio comprises eight elderly care homes and 408 beds located across East Anglia and Essex.
CGEN Care Group was incorporated only at the end of last year. Its team is led by Nathan Schreiber, Eliyohu Goldman and Mayer Chersky. They were previously directors of Resicare Alliance.
The sale process was managed for Stow Healthcare by Knight Frank and Charles Russell Speechleys.
