Steve Gray brings decades of healthcare leadership experience to help guide the group’s global expansion.
Maulin Group has appointed Steve Gray, the former Chief Executive of Nuffield Health, to its global strategic advisory board. The appointment brings a significant wealth of experience in leading large-scale healthcare organisations.
Gray, who steered Nuffield Health, one of the UK’s largest healthcare providers, through a period of major transformation, has a track record in improving clinical quality, financial performance and operational integration across a national network.
He is expected to play a key role in advising Maulin Group as it seeks to strengthen healthcare providers globally and advance its mission of enabling safer, more advanced patient care.
“Steve is a highly respected leader with deep insight into the pressures facing healthcare today. He understands the realities providers face, from safety and governance to commercial resilience and organisational performance,” said Oliver Maughan, Founder and CEO of Maulin Group. “His experience aligning clinical and operational priorities at scale will be invaluable as Maulin Group continues to expand across the UK, Australia and other global markets.”
A global healthcare-risk and patient-safety platform built to reduce avoidable harm, strengthen governance, and stabilise operational and financial exposure for healthcare providers worldwide, Maulin Group unifies clinical-risk consultancy, regulated indemnity, legal expertise and healthcare technology into one integrated ecosystem.
“This is exactly the right moment for Maulin Group to launch,” said Steve Gray. “Providers everywhere are under pressure to deliver safer care while staying financially sustainable, and for many, that balance has never been harder to achieve. What Maulin Group offers is something the sector has been waiting for: a connected model that strengthens safety, reduces the cost of risk and unlocks the holy grail of providing exceptional care at a profit.
“Healthcare needs partners that simplify complexity and bring clarity at a time when demands are rising. The Group’s integrated architecture does precisely that. It gives providers the intelligence and support they need to innovate, protect patients and build stronger, more resilient organisations. I am delighted to join the Global Strategic Advisory Board and support this important work.”
