The mental health facilities group has partnered with the Cambridge University spinout to help streamline mental health assessments.
The Priory Group, a provider of mental health care facilities in the United Kingdom, has partnered with mental health app Psyomics to launch a digital pathway aimed at streamlining mental health assessments. It aims to give adults faster access to the right care as well as personalised treatment recommendations.
The platform of the Cambridge University biotech spinout addresses the challenges of inconsistent, time-consuming and costly mental health information capture from patients.
By automating data capture, the platform eases administrative burdens and streamlines care. At the same time, it encourages patients to take a more proactive role in their care, while enabling clinicians to swiftly pinpoint the most suitable care pathways – delivering timely, effective support without unnecessary delays.
“By automating and standardising key parts of the information captured from patients we free up clinicians to focus on what really matters – providing high-quality, patient-centred treatment,” said Melinda Rees, chief executive of Psyomics.
The Psyomics Platform collects data on mental health, social determinants and personal factors, including suicidality, self-harm, family dynamics and financial security. Clinicians at Priory review this data and determine the next steps and most appropriate clinical treatment pathway ensuring patients are matched with the right care promptly.
