Leeds-based Radar Healthcare has acquired Auckland-headquartered patient experience and outcomes platform Cemplicity.
Marlin Equity-owned healthtech company Radar Healthcare has acquired Auckland-based patient experience and outcomes platform Cemplicity.
Financial terms have not been disclosed.
In a statement, Radar Healthcare said that the acquisition brings together two complementary healthcare technology businesses with a shared commitment to safer care, better experiences, better outcomes and measurable improvement.
This transaction further expands Radar Healthcare’s ability to support healthcare organisations across quality, safety, patient engagement, informed consent and measurable improvement.
“Radar Healthcare and Cemplicity share a clear purpose: helping healthcare organisations improve quality, deliver safer care, enhance patient experiences and achieve better outcomes,” said Edward Bellamy, chief executive of Radar Healthcare, while Blaik Wilson called it “an important and positive milestone” for Cemplicity.
California-based software and technology investment firm Marlin Equity Partners took a majority stake in Radar Healthcare in November 2024. “Radar Healthcare’s mission-critical platform is strategically positioned to drive sustained growth in both domestic and international healthcare and social care markets,” said Chris Clasper, a principal at Marlin, at the time.
Soon afterwards, in February last year, Radar Healthcare acquired Nottingham-based EIDO Healthcare, a provider of digital consent and patient information solutions.
The firm has said that Radar Healthcare and Cemplicity will collaborate to explore opportunities to connect patient experience, patient-reported outcomes, quality, safety, risk and improvement workflows to create additional value for customers.
