The San-Francisco-based AI software company intends to use the acquisition to access healthcare Trusts in the UK.
San-Francisco-based AI-based platforms and software company ThinkBio.Ai has acquired London-based hospital asset management software provider InfoHealth Solutions.
Financial terms have not been disclosed.
InfoHealth currently supports 19 NHS Trusts with more than 30 active installations of its proprietary asset management platform across the UK.
Following the acquisition, InfoHealth will retain its brand identity. More to the point, the deal gives the US firm’s software portfolio access to the UK.
“InfoHealth has built deep expertise and trust with the NHS through decades of operational excellence,” said ThinkBio.Ai’s founder and chief executive Pradeep Palazhi.
“By combining this foundation with ThinkBio’s AI capabilities, we aim to be a significant player in the UK healthcare market in the coming years,” he continued.
Together, the companies say that they plan to introduce advanced tools that predict equipment failures, streamline maintenance schedules, and improve hospital-wide asset efficiency.
