Hims & Hers Health has expanded its presence in the UK consumer healthcare market by acquiring Eucalyptus.

US digital health provider Hims & Hers Health has acquired Eucalyptus, the parent company of Juniper, to expand its preventative healthcare reach to UK patients.

It will focus on sexual health, dermatology and weight management, delivering whole-body, personalised care at scale.

Although financial terms have not been disclosed, the move marks further efforts to secure Hims & Hers as the largest consumer health platform in the world.

Juniper focuses on women’s health and has served more than 220,000 customers globally since launching in 2022. It looks long-term, rather than prioritising immediate symptoms.

In 2023, the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence recommended Juniper’s multidisciplinary weight management services for early use within the NHS.

“Our continued expansion in the UK will introduce a new standard of care to more people across more areas of their health,” said Andrew Dudum, co-founder and chief executive of Hims & Hers.

His team also aims to fill capacity gaps in the NHS. They work on this by collaborating with local clinical leaders and connecting patients with British providers.
