The H2 Equity Partners-backed firm merges with Xiel to grow its footprint in medical imaging across Britain and Ireland.

Following an investment from London-based investment firm H2 Equity Partners, medical imaging distributor MIS Healthcare has merged with Xiel, a distributor of nuclear medicine, radiotherapy, and diagnostic radiology equipment to the UK and Ireland.

MIS supplies and maintains ultrasound, digital radiography, MRI and CT equipment alongside related medical devices and consumables. MIS also offers service and maintenance contracts via a national team of engineers. The London-headquartered firm works with customers across the healthcare market, including leading NHS Trusts and private medical groups, as well as dentistry and veterinary ones.

“By combining MIS Healthcare’s extensive radiotherapy portfolio with Xiel’s specialised expertise in nuclear medicine, radiotherapy, and diagnostic radiology, this unified platform is set to drive advancements in technology and deliver exceptional value to the healthcare community in the UK and Ireland,” said Mark O’Herlihy, director of MIS Healthcare.

Founded in 2019, Xiel managing director Jack Knight said: “This merger brings an exciting opportunity to combine our extensive healthcare expertise and leverage the many synergies between our companies”.
