The £52 million investment in London hopes to accelerate healthtech innovation by connecting startups to the wider healthcare ecosystem.

After £52 million investment, Hale House has been developed in the Harley Street Health District to be a hub for healthtech.

Developed by the Howard de Walden Estate and operated in partnership with Spacemade, Hale House spans three buildings: 19 Portland Place, 76-78 Portland Place and 42 Portland Place in Marylebone, London.

Hale House provides a range of workspaces all designed to promote collaboration among HealthTech innovators. The development offers an array of state-of-the-art amenities, including media production facilities, a wellness room and a rooftop garden terrace.

The hub wants to accelerate healthtech innovation by connecting startups to an ecosystem of more than 2,500 healthcare professionals, testing facilities and industry leaders through networking events.

“By investing in health innovation, we have created spaces that will push the boundaries of emerging technologies and help those involved in ground-breaking research,” said Mark Kildea, chief executive of The Howard de Walden Estate.
